The wonderful women Bible study group of the Filipino Ministry call their group the "Pag-ibig", which means love in Tagalog. The thirteen women of this group have joined the New Sunshine Ministry Care Team. They would love to share their time to visit shut-ins and those in retirement and nursing homes. They are hoping to be able to serve in Pastor Sol's ministry in Vitas too. Some members of the Pag-ibig group are also volunteering to be Encouragers. This amazingly growing group of women will be extending their love to everyone with their servant-leadership plans.
They are looking forward to offering a cooking class featuring the famous Filipino lumpia and fried rice. They will also hold a "Tender Moments", pampering session for their members who need refreshing facials and pedicures. For anyone interested in the cooking session, please e-mail us at keri_bum@yahoo.com. We will be coordinating with the kitchen administrators for scheduling and details.
