Daily Bread

Servants are needed when our church is scheduled to work at Daily Bread on the 2nd Friday of each month. Starting times are staggered.

Servants work in all aspects of support at Daily Bread. Their jobs include minor food prep, cleaning and setting of tables, wrapping silverware with napkins, door attendant, manning serving lines, bussing tables, scrapping plates, dishwashing, cleanup, sweeping, and hosing down outside dining area.
Clean up is usually complete by 2:45.

Habitat for Humanity

Servants are always needed for this outreach ministry. Prior to our church building a home, we need servants to coordinate the build, fundraising, and arranging meals for the workers. During the build, we need servants to help with the actual construction (anyone 18 or older) and servants to provide meals.

University Park Elementary School Mentor Program

Meet with assigned student at designated time once a week. During this time the servant will have lunch with the student, and work on both social and academic skills.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Brevard provides both training and supervision. Background check, references, and interview are required.

University Park Elementary School Tutoring Program

Check in with the head teacher at UPES for assignment. May help student with schoolwork or an art project as assigned by teacher. There are no scheduled days; volunteers are needed on school days from 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Background check and references will be required.

Give the Gift of Life

In hospitals across the country there is a national shortage of blood. Did you know that 60% of the population will need blood in their lifetime? However, only 5% of the population donates blood.

Donating is a four step process.

The first step is registration.
The second step is a health screening which includes questions about your health and life style. Then your temperature, pulse rate, and blood pressures will be taken and your iron will be tested.
The third step is the actual donation, which takes 5 to 20 minutes and is done while you relax in a reclining chair.
The fourth and final step is refreshments and post donation instructions.

One donation saves three lives. Thank you in advance for giving the gift of life.

The bloodmobile comes to our church on a regular basis on a Sunday, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. Please consider making a donation and watch for details.
