FUMC Softball Team

This is the second time in three years that we have won the trophy and the other time we lost by one run.

Thanks so much for giving the softball team props. They are out there every Tuesday night playing their hearts out. This year they finally got matching shirts which makes them easier to pick out on the field!

Here are two websites you can access to check and see where they are playing and what time, like I said they play every Tuesday night.

Fall Ball

Fall ball starts next week, July 29th. Most Fall Ball is played at Liberty Field off Emerson in Palm Bay. If you take San Filipio off Malabar Rd. at the first light (not Home Depot) make a right then go to the next light at Emerson and take a left ,go about 1/2 mile you will see the lights of the field and a massive American Flag.

Winter Ball

Winter ball starts in late January. Once in a while they play at Knecht Field over by Harris Corp in Palm Bay. The team has been together for several years now and are very cohesive as evidenced by the tropies they have won. The head honcho is Steve Jones from FUMC. Anyone wishing to join the team which is made up of 12 guys and one girl can contact FUMC office or Steve. Please come out and support our team, it is lots of fun and gives the team a boost to hear us cheering for them.
