Worship Design Team
The Worship Design Team exists to glorify God through a community of believers who share a common mission. Our mission is to please God through worship and service as a harmonious fellowship of believers. Ken Blanchard defines a team this way: " A team is a group of interdependent people committed to a common purpose who chose to cooperate to achieve exceptional results." We want to be exceptional for our Lord. In Exodus 18: 13-24 Jethro gave Moses advice about finding others who could help him fulfill his mission. Even Jesus used twelve team members to accomplish his mission and called all to be a member of his team.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A HEALTHY TEAM
(From Monty Kelso, Worship Leader Magazine)
What do effective teams look like and how do they function?
- A healthy teams is looking for mutual results
- No Prima Donnas. Each team member is contributor to the end result, that is to bring honor and glory to God.
- A healthy team is committed to a common purpose
- Common views, values, and goals - A shared focus - "A vision is what we have eyes to see ourselves becoming." Eyes upon Jesus keeps the team in sync and on track.
- A healthy team understands mutual accountability
- All members share responsibility for the end result.
- Love and Grace prevail in a healthy team
Remember, we are people in process and far from perfect. We need to look out for the best interest (Philippians chapter 2) of the other person, forgiving and loving one another. This Love and Grace will prevail if we continually pray for one another.
