Transformers Youth Ministry
of First United Methodist Church

Romans 12:2 – Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

The youth ministry is made up of 7th – 12th grade students who are looking and searching for a deeper spiritual meaning in their lives. Each week we come together to grow and develop our relationship with Christ. Come and join us.

Bryant Johnson Joins First Church as Youth Minister

Bryant has much experience in youth ministry, having served churches and the Annual Conference Youth Camping ministry for ten years. Bryant is married to Tonya and they have a boxer. Bryant graduated from Florida Southern College in 1998 with a degree in Sociology. He has been a vital part of the curriculum writing Teams for our Youth Camp Summer program at the Warren Willis Youth Camp in Leesburg. He has served on Contemporary Worship teams and helped to develop Youth Training events for the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Bryant and Tonya

Bryant loves basketball, computers, skateboarding and playing the guitar. He brings a wealth of knowledge, inspiration and maturity to the work of youth ministry. Tonya loves being out in the sunshine, listening to music, and playing with her niece Haley. She is dedicated and passionate about everything she does. She has a servant’s heart and enjoys working with others.
